Spin the Wheel – Free Random Picker
Spin Wheelhouse is a free online wheel spinner and random picker. Add names, numbers, prizes or any options, spin the wheel, and get a fair random result in seconds.
What Is a Spin Wheel?
A spin the wheel tool (also called a wheel spinner, wheel of names or random picker wheel) chooses one option at random from a list. Each entry becomes a slice of the wheel, and the slice that stops under the pointer is the result.
Because everyone can watch the wheel spin, the result is easy to trust. That makes a spin wheel a popular choice for classrooms, giveaways, live streams, party games and everyday decisions.
Every spin on Spin Wheelhouse is decided by your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator before the wheel starts moving. Each entry has the same chance unless you give it a bigger slice, and the animation shows the result without changing it.
The wheel runs in your browser on phones, tablets and computers, with no app to install and no account to create. Your entries and settings are saved on your device.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about how the wheel works, what it saves and how fair it is. Want proof? Try the randomness audit.
Is the wheel spinner really random?
Yes. Each result is chosen by your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator, and every entry has an equal chance unless you give it a bigger slice. You can test it yourself in the randomness audit.
Is Spin Wheelhouse free?
Yes. The wheel spinner is free to use, with no sign-up and no limit on spins or entries.
How do I remove a name after it is picked?
Press Remove next to the result when the wheel stops. To remove every winner automatically, turn on Remove the winner automatically in Settings.
How many entries can the wheel hold?
There is no limit. Labels are easiest to read with up to about 50 entries, and every entry has the same chance however many you add.
Can I make one entry more likely than the others?
Yes. End its line with a pipe and a number, such as Pizza | 3. That entry gets three times the slice of an ordinary entry and three times the chance of winning.
How do I share my wheel?
Press the share button beside the wheel to copy a link. Anyone who opens the link sees the same entries, name and colors.
Are my wheels saved?
Yes, in this browser. Each wheel remembers your changes on this device. Clearing your browser data or switching devices starts fresh.
Can I use the wheel for giveaways?
Yes. Paste every entrant, one per line, and spin on a stream or shared screen. Remove each winner to draw several prizes in a row.
Is the wheel good for classrooms?
Yes. Teachers use it to call on students, choose activities and form groups. Use full screen on a projector and remove each name once picked.
Can I change how long the wheel spins?
Yes. Open Settings and set the spin time anywhere from 2 to 60 seconds.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The wheel runs in your browser on phones, tablets and computers.
